We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel! The location is splendid, offering plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring the beautiful surroundings. The hotel is nestled by a river, providing a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are lovely, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with amenities such as tea and coffee facilities, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV. The dining experience was exceptional, with delicious meals prepared with great attention to presentation and flavor. The owners were friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasantly relaxed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends. The only small suggestion we have is that the hotel could benefit from being signposted from the main road.

The hotel was located in a peaceful and picturesque setting, surrounded by trees and a river. The room we stayed in was modern and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The food was sensational, and we were impressed by the knowledgeable and friendly service. The wine list was also excellent, offering a great variety of options. it was a memorable experience and we would love to visit again in the future.
There was really nothing to dislike about our stay at the hotel. If I had to nitpick, I would say that breakfast wasn't quite as exceptional as the dinner, but it was still very good.

This hotel is located in a peaceful area of the village. the building was difficult to find with no signage pointing in the direction of a walker coming down from the hills, but once located, the hotel provides a wonderful retreat. Rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. the restaurant attached to the hotel serves delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast. the staff are friendly and provide great service. Guests can also relax in the lounge area with an assortment of books, magazines and DVDs available.
The hotel lacks outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery.

This hotel was a perfect romantic escape for my partner and me. The location was serene and we were able to take a lovely walk in the surrounding nature. The staff were very approachable and professional which added a lot to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast provided was high quality, and the wide selection of breakfast foods gave us many options to choose from.
The shower in the room was just a shower attachment over the bath which was a bit inconvenient. the room lacked adequate soundproofing, which meant we could hear the noise from the nearby river.

We recently spent a weekend in a hotel in the Scottish Highlands and it was truly amazing. the food was incredibly delicious, with a great selection of wines to choose from. the location was perfect, with stunning views and plenty of walks and activities to do nearby. We particularly liked the cosy lounge area, where we could relax with books and magazines, and even watch some DVDs.
Honestly, there was not much that we disliked about our experience at this hotel. If we had to say one thing, it would be that the weather wasn't always on our side, but that is just something that cannot be controlled.
